We build our app with privacy in mind. Marine Surveyor ToolKit operates primarily offline, and we have designed the app so that your sensitive survey data never touches our servers.

Our philosophy is simple: we don't collect, store, or monetize your personal survey data. We only collect the minimal information necessary to deliver and improve our service.

• Your Survey Data: Surveys, photos, findings, and reports you create are stored locally on your device and securely synced exclusively via your personal Apple iCloud account using CloudKit. We do not have access to your survey data.

2. How We Use the Information

We use the minimal information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our services to you.
• Process transactions and send related information, including confirmations and receipts.
• Send you technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support messages.
• Respond to your comments, questions, and customer service requests.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to provide our services or as required by law. Specifically:

• Service Providers: We use Apple (App Store, CloudKit) for payments and data syncing. These services are bound by their respective strict privacy policies.
• Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with legal obligations.

4. Your Choices

You have control over your data. Because your survey data is stored on your device and in your personal iCloud, you can delete it at any time directly from the app or through your iOS device's storage and iCloud settings. You can also contact us to request deletion of your account credentials.

5. Security

We take reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Your survey data benefits from the robust encryption and security protocols natively provided by Apple's iOS and iCloud architecture.

6. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy and, in some cases, we may provide you with additional notice (such as adding a statement to our homepage or sending you a notification).
