We build our app with privacy in mind. Marine Surveyor ToolKit operates primarily offline, and we have designed the app so that your sensitive survey data stays on your device and in your Apple ecosystem where supported.

• Your Survey Data: Surveys, photos, findings, and reports you create are stored locally on your device and can sync through your personal Apple iCloud account using CloudKit where enabled.

2. How We Use the Information

We use the minimal information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the app.
• Process transactions and send related information, including confirmations and receipts.
• Send technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support messages.
• Respond to comments, questions, and customer service requests.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share personal information with third parties except as necessary to provide the service or as required by law. Specifically:

• Service Providers: We use Apple services for payments and data syncing.
• Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or if necessary to comply with legal obligations.

You have control over your data. Because your survey data is stored on your device and in your personal iCloud, you can delete it at any time directly from the app or through your iOS device storage and iCloud settings.

We take reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. Your survey data benefits from the security architecture provided by Apple’s platform.

6. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the date at the top of the policy and may provide additional notice if appropriate.
